It's Time!
It’s
new release time over at Visible Image!
Tomorrow’s Memories is the amazing new release designed by Mark
Alexander and it’s not just stamps and stencils this time. Oh no!
There’s a gorgeous paper pad, tags and some cool continuous PET tape too. The full collection can be found here.
Today’s make is a Z-fold card and is one of the samples you might have seen during Mark’s Live on You Tube. I started by stamping and silver heat-embossing the butterfly in Counting Moments three times on one of the pink/purple paper pad sheets. They were fussy cut and I neatened the cut edges with a silver Sharpie pen.
After silver heat-embossing the butterfly clock on Arden’s Pitch Black card, this was fussy-cut and one of the butterflies from above was glued on.
Next, I cut the card blank, 12” x 4”, from a 12” x 12” sheet of Arden Pitch Black linen effect card, scored it along the long side at 3” and 6” and folded it into a Z-shape. I cut mats from Bubblegum card and toppers from the remains of the paper pad sheet.
The toppers were decorated by partial stamping with the number grid and small butterfly and clear heat-embossing.
The sentiment is from Present Times and fit perfectly in the gap. This was stamped and clear heat-embossed.
After gluing the mats and layers onto the card blank, I adhered the clock so that some of it would overhang the fold.
The remaining butterfly wings were glued in place with a tiny piece of foam tape tucked in next to the glued spot to give them dimension.
To finish, I added a large rhinestone onto the butterfly.
