It’s new release time over at Visible Image!   Tomorrow’s Memories is the amazing new release designed by Mark Alexander and it’s not just stamps and stencils this time.   Oh no!   There’s a gorgeous paper pad, tags and some cool continuous PET tape too.   The full collection can be found here . Today’s make is a Z-fold card and is one of the samples you might have seen during Mark’s Live on You Tube.  I started by stamping and silver heat-embossing the butterfly in Counting Moments  three times on one of the pink/purple paper pad sheets .   They were fussy cut and I neatened the cut edges with a silver Sharpie pen. After silver heat-embossing the butterfly clock on Arden’s Pitch Black card, this was fussy-cut and one of the butterflies from above was glued on. Next, I cut the card blank, 12” x 4”, from a 12” x 12” sheet of Arden Pitch Black linen effect card, scored it along the long side at 3” and 6” and folded it into a Z-shape.   ...

  I loved making this week’s card for our friend that had her first baby recently.  I don’t have a lot of use for stamps aimed at making children’s cards but I bought the Baby Bear set as you’re never too old for a teddy bear!  This is a retired stamp set but I’ve kept mine as I really like that bear and how he comes to life with the three layers of ink.  I’ve also got a couple of handy tips on repeat stamping and extending the use of dies. This was a bigger card than usual as I wanted it to be a square Z-fold card.  I fancied a gingham style background but didn’t have anything in my stash that was pink so used the Buffalo Check background stamp and some Rococo Rose ink.  The stamp was a little small for my background so I used the Stamparatus to do some repeat stamping.  I first stamped the check background and marked an arrow on my grid paper where the edge of the stamp came to.  Next, I moved the card so that the left-hand edge of the stamped ...

Z-fold cards are very cool! This card was demonstrated by Amanda from Inspiring Inkin’ during a recent team training video.  I have made Z-cards before but I liked Amanda’s addition of the ‘foot’.  This card also offers the opportunity to use up any odd bits of DSP. Whilst the supplies list may seem extensive, once they’re all assembled, the card comes together really quickly.  As well as a fab Christmas card, this can also be modified to include a gift card holder too.     I scored only the centre of the card base to begin and masked the back with a sticky note.  Using the same ink as the card base, I randomly stamped the tree image.  This process was repeated on the reverse side. The tree image was also stamped on the card liner and envelope. I heat embossed the tree and cut it out using the punch.  The sentiment, from Itty Bitty Christmas, was stamped on the white circle.
